FORWARD 2009 IN NUMBERS

  

VISITORS

Last year 's number of FORWARD visitors was a key indicatorof its success, where more than 55,400 visitors attended. This allowed companies in the exhibition to recruit the qualified Lebanese talent they were seeking. The 55,400 visitors were as follows:

  • 6,100 were between the age of 17 and 20 ; 21,000 were between the age of 21 and 26; 17,300 were between the age of 27 and 35; and 11,000 were above the age of 35.
  • 33% were females and 67% were males
  • 21% were looking for education, training, and/or internship, while 79% were looking for job opportunities. Out of this 79%, 72% were looking to shift their current jobs for better opportunities, while the remaining 28% were in between jobs or fresh graduates.

EXHIBITORS

The fair gathered around 148 exhibitors on an area of 7,000 sqm that was spread as follows:

  • 118 Leading Multinational, regional and local Companies
  • 30 Academic Institutions and Training & Cultural Centers.

FORWARD 2010 will constitute an ideal meeting place for potential and actual workforce in the Middle East, aging from 18 and beyond, as follows:
  • 91% of the exhibitors confirmed that the event met their objectives
  • 94% of the exhibitors expressed extreme satisfaction with the organization
  • 81% of the exhibitors confirmed their participation for next year
  • All visitors clearly stated thet they would advise their relatives and friends to visit FORWARD
